watch repair help.

i just received my casio edifice watch back from the repair store in california.
they fixed a broken "calendar" hand but never re-aligned the Hour hand. if its 6 o clock, the hour hand would be in the middle of the 6 and 7
the hour hand is the one of the two most important hands on a watch, who gives a rats ass what the calendar hand is doing.

after waiting for more then two weeks, im pissed. they said they will cover
the shipping and reemburse me for mine.

after trying 3-4 different other cheap watches, this one was the most comfortable and decided to get it fixed. locals here dont seem to know much about watch repair. they can sell you a $5,000 watch but they can't repair a $35 one.

they charged me $19.95 to get it fixed but they also scratched up my crystal.

what recourse do i have with my credit card company? i think i ll try to borrow a nice digi cam and capture all the scratches on the crystal, post up the pics and send them the link when i drop it off again. they can see the pic, complaint and hopefully they will hook me up for all this bullshit..

On most analog watches, the hands are just pressed onto the center shafts. If you can safely remove the back cover, and pull the assembly out, turn it over, ...you'll be able to use your finger, or a toothpick or something and just push the hand back to it's correct position.

If needed...take a crappy clock, and tear it apart for practice.

i was thinking about that today, find someone to open it up.

only problem now is that the hands get stuck at 8 o clock. i dont know why..

it if didnt get stuck i would try it myself. now it sounds like there is major damage..
