New Impala Ss Spoiler 94-96 Not Fiberglass!
Our 94-96 Impala SS Rear Spoiler is an EXACT Factory OEM style Reproduction That is injection molded out of a tough, rigid automotive urethane elastomer Plastic - not a CHEAP ONE-SIDED FIBERGLASS SHELL COPY THAT CAN'T SEAL OR INSTALL PROPERLY TO THE CAR BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE A CIRCUMFERENCE MOUNTING LIP LIKE THE OEM FACTORY SPOILER. The Difference between the two is that the bottom side (the part that touches your car) of our competitor's Spoiler is rough, hairy and uneven fiberglass, and the edges are sharp and can gouge into your paint job! The underside of OUR spoiler is molded to PERFECTLY fit against the trunk lid using the 1/2” wide water proof rubber gasket -INCLUDED- and RUBBER O-RINGS AROUND THE BOLTS(exactly like OEM) that seals the Spoiler to the car keeping water from leaking and collecting underneath the Spoiler and then leaking through the bolt holes and into your trunk, causing RUST and STREAKING down the back of YOUR car, ruining your paint job and really annoying you every time you wash your car!!! OUR Spoiler installs with (2) bolts AND EXPENSIVE 3M black double sided 1/16"x1/2" automotive mounting tape (3M-06382) which costs us $17.52/roll and comes already installed - unlike our competition. Ours looks IDENTICAL to the OEM Spoiler on BOTH sides. Before buying ANY other spoiler, DEMAND to see a picture of the UNDERSIDE and INQUIRE how it SEALS and ATTACHES to the car - don't be fooled by EVASIVE ANSWERS! ALL MOUNTING HARDWARE and INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS are INCLUDED. For photos and more imortant details check us out on Ebay at the following Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ory=33638&rd=1

The link is bad. I think you posted this once before, and actually there are 2 things that are stopping me from buying (and I'm looking to buy one). First - I was unable to find any reviews of you product on any of the Impala / Caprice boards, and I'd feel much better if some Caprice owner said, yeah, it's a great product, go for it. Second is a price which is higher then then everybody else's, but that's not so much of a factor as the first one if you really have a quality product. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.

First of all, let me say that I have NOT purchased a spoiler from these guys. I did buy one off of e-Bay for much more than these guys are selling theirs for. It stayed on the car for 11 days. It didn't bolt on, it was only held on by 3m tape. We waited to put it on until the temp was in the mid 80's, used wax and grease remover to prep the trunk, and even then we couldn't get the urethane spoiler to fit tightly to the body. So we bought the spoiler. Had it prepped, primed, prepped, and painted to match the car- and less than two weeks later it was back off the car.
I would strongly suggest that if you're going to buy a spoiler, you buy one that bolts on. Apparently the tape is only there on the factory ones as a water seal.
Just my $.02

New Impala Ss Spoiler 94-96 Not Fiberglass!
First of all, let me assure you that you DEFINATELY did not buy one of our spoilers. Un-like the OEM, our (2) spoiler bolt brackets are molded as one piece integral with the spoiler- we simply could not make one without the bolts! Secondly, there are many brand and grades of double sided tape somewhere between $3-$18/roll. Proffesional body shops who have to warranty their work use tape like the stuff we use on our spoilers (3M brand #06382) which is the most expensive one we found, and if installed properly, will take the paint off with it if not removed very carefully. I believe you are correct in saying that the tape is there to seal the water from getting into your trunk and rust treaking - this is exactly why we did NOT make this spoiler out of fiberglass eventhough we are predominately a fiberglass manufacturer. We wanted to do it right, and believe me we paid dearly for it in the cost of tooling to manufacture these spoilers. Check our %100 Ebay feadback rating; Out of 330+ sales we have not had a single unhappy customer. Thant is why we can afford to give a %100 money back guarantee. Please try our spoiler next time! thanks, Beth

I have no direct experience with the spoiler but it definitely sounds like a good deal. First of all the spoiler is urethane so it should fit much better than the fiberglass ones. Also, in addition to the tape, it bolts on to the trunk just like the stock one.
Keep in mind that the GM spoiler is twice the price.

My Question is: how much is the cost of this spoiler? Ebay shows a bid price of $125.

I'd like to order one of these, but I can't seem to locate your phone number.
P.S. Guys, I'll let you know how this goes, and what the quality is, firsthand, after I'm done.

I haven't gotten it yet. But I suppose they are being a bit slow because of all the holidays.
