So I bought the Gas-Rite fuel gauge calibration kit, installed it, THEN realised the instructions said to run the tank damn-near-empty first, to calibrate the Emptyposition on the gauge... so I guess I gotta wait for the tank to run empty...
anyway, the instructions say to wait until the Low Fuel light comes on, then set the Empty Position, and immediately fill up the gas to set the Full position... I'm scared that my Low Fuel ligh won't come on... I know a lot of you guys have the gas gauge problem, does your low fuel light still come on if you let it run low, or does it mess up as a result of the bad gauge? I'd rather not get stranded.
