I was fallowing my buddie last night back to his house after we left mine and he wanted to drag to see who's car was faster,he has a 91 or 92 eagle talon, and I have a 1991 caprice with the stock 305,5.0.We pulled up to the traffic light and he reved his engine to let me know he wanted to see if my v8 would romp his 4 banger,he's got the 2 1/2 straight pipes with the coffie can exaust and a modded air intake w/a k&n filter, and not much else in line of mods that he told me about. My engine is bone stock,so the light changes and we go...he had probly his front tire in line with my front bumper off the light and slowly but surely he got passed.first it was by a half a car length then when it was all said and done (when my 112 mph limmiter kicked in) I was about 3 1/2 car lengths in front of him!!!!He kept telling me he missed second (he has a auto that he still trys to shift to get better pick up,LOL....) He said he went from 1st. to drive, and THATS when I blew by him.I just think he cant admit he got beat by a boat.lol...I just thought Ide share that kill story with ya'll.Peace.
