F-body EGR advantages/disadvantages?

does anyone know what the advantages/disadvantges are of the f-body egr, and do i have to get the selinoid changed?

There are no disadvantages of running f-body egr. It is just a longer lasting valve. Changing the solenoid would be a good idea for better results. Make sure it is a Z28 6-speed egr (not just f-body).
