My 96 LT1 Formula doesn't like to start, when it has been turned off for more than 6-8 hrs. After it starts ups and I drive it or just let it run it will start again just fine.
The starter, battery, alternator are fine. I don't think it the opti-spark b/c no codes come up. So that means the fuel injectors should be fine too.
I thought that maybe there wasn't enough backpressure going to the trottlebody to start a "cold" engine. (this happens at all temperatures outside.)
Could Oxygen Sensors cause this? How about a MAF sensor. If it was one of these sensors shouldn't the OBDII system tell me?
Any help would be great-- 2 months of tyring everything.
