is it true slick 50 will prevent the the cylinder walls from wearing down anymore if you get a slick 50 oil change? tell me more about this product

The jury is out on that one. There was a class action suit I think because of overly optimistic performance claims. It seems to be good stuff, but not magic. My dad used it for years and swears by it, but now there is some other additive that's supposed to be a bit better but I forgot the name.
It won't hurt your engine, but I wouldn't run the car without oil like they did in the old commercials, lol. :D
I'll most likely use it or something similar in a few weeks when I change my oil.

Hey, I just noticed you're in Houston. Are the 'Last Concert Cafe' , 'The Pig' and 'Billy Bues' still around? I was there for a few weeks on biz once and had a great time. Met this awesome chick on the first night who thought the Hyatt Regency was the Taj Mahal, I really wished I could take her back to NYC with me. :D

i never heard of those things you speak of. the hyatt is in downtown, im actually about 10 min, from the houston city limits. right outside of houston in a suburb. i have been to new york myself. i went in 97. awsome place
