Post Counts

I think post counts should count in the off-topics area and I hate flood control........ shew im done ranting

Here is the logic behind this decsision (damn, how do you spell that?):

Usually people look at a persons post count, to see how much he/she contributes to the forum. Since off-topic is supposed to be just talking, without any automotive content, that doesn't really count as contriting.

However if the members feel that the posts should be counted in off-topic too, we can make it so. Should I set up a poll, and see what everyone thinks?

What do u need post counts for anyway? Future moderator candidates or something?

People like post counts. I like post counts. Why not have them when you can? Increases the fun factor.

I think that all posts should count as the
custom avitar has a high count rate just to change it

Me and DR are already thinking about a new post system, but if you reach 200 posts you can e-mail us a photo of your car and we will turn it into an avatar that you can use.

After 200 posts the photo of your car will be added to this list http://forum.4adrive.com/misc.php3?s=&action=showavatars

WOW THATS A LOT. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO GET THAT MUCH? I WISH I HAD MORE POST TO POST BUT I'M USUALY THE ONE READING THEM.

It was the board on a history site, the board is quite famous for being a center for political and historical discussions. It took me about five month to accumilate that number of posts.

Took me about 7 months to accumulate 5500 posts on the other site.........
