Clicking Noise

Whats'up, I just purchased a 95 Lt1, I have a clicking noise that sounds like its coming on the left side of my manifold, I don't know exactly what it is, but I lose alot of power because of it, I can hear it when I have the car in park and REV the engine, or accelerating rapidly, have anybody ever had this problem, if so can you give me some ideas? I have been told its a crack in my manifold, and worn dohnut gaskets, would like to hear your views.

check the compression, i know it is a bit hard, if you dont' feel like doing that, try taking the valve cover off on the pass side, it might be exhaust knocking on the valve cover, which would mean a blown seal.
