The light for the ABS keeps coming on in my 93 9c1. Anybody encountered problems with their ABS? I can get a 95 abs brain from an impala, but i was wondering in they are interchangeable with a 93 caprice?
i don't think the abs brain from impala/lt1 caprice will work.
i remember steeve had pros with his abs after he did the gears. i'm not sure but i doubt that thats what causes your prob. maybe just uninstall the abs, or the light for now :D.

I'm not sure when the switch was, but some where GM went from OBD II to OBD III.
As long as the abs brain that you get speaks the same lnnguage, and the brakes are the same, same size rotors, equalizer, and every thing, I think that it should work.
I'm suggesting something a bit more simple.
Check the wiring at the back of each of your wheels.
It could be as simple as something getting knocked loose.
Ya never know...

Very true, I'm going to try and raise the car up at the shop, this weekend. Hopefully, I'll be able to trouble shoot the couple of kinks in the car. Thanks again for all of your guys help.
The ABS is the same for all 91-96 b-bodies. The brake lines are routed a little differently for 95-96 models but that should not be a problem.
I would check the abs sensors near the front wheels first, then abs reluctor in the rear casing before touching the abs control module.
