Car Won't Start

On May 10,2003 I was at a prade and when the prade was over I walked over to my car to start it but , I couldn't get it to start up. I kept trying to start and then it started up and I gave it some gas then it died on me. I had to call someone to help me get my car to start. Anyone have any ideas why my car did this to me? Its a 1998 honda.

Could be fuel. Water in the gas, or other contaminants, but probibly not.
If the engine consistantly turns over, at the same speed it allways has, then it's not the starter or battery.
With out knowing more than it's a '98 Honda, I would make a W.A.G. at a bad connection in the ignition system. Check the coil wires.
Could possibly be in the fuel delivery. Clogged filter perhaps.
If it has fuel injection it could be that the injectors aren't getting the correct signal. (computer).
