I didn't get to see matrix last night, i did however got to enjoy myself going up against the brand new 350z.
It is about 1 am and there i am curzin to meet eligc at the theater after watching the movie, when all of a sudden i see a challenger in my driver's side mirror, guess who it is the 350z. So i let him pass me he is about a carlenght ahead, i gave it some gas to pull up right next to him (doubting that he'd actually go). And what do you know? he jumps ahead, so i thought to myself thats how you going to play eh? i gun it, he guns it too i'm in the far right he is in the middle lane and both of us are flying, he is about a half a carlenght ahead of me. But i notice that slowly but surely i'm gaining on him and actually overtaking the lead. now we are 110, and there was some merging traffic ahead so both of us slowed down coz he got cut off too. and then this jerk was blinking with his blinker trying to merge infront of me (between myself and the challenger), so i don't really gun it. by the time i go around the blinking ass the 350z has already floored it and flew away.
now i know, it ain't really a kill. but it sure was an adrenaline rush. i was expecting that 350z to perform a lot better then it did. for some reason i thought that nissan attempted at building a japanese muscle car and threw a v8 in there, or just like back in the day the turbocharged v6 but when i came online and did some searching it turned out that the brand new z has a N/A v6 pumping out 287 hps and about the same amount of toque. thats pretty impressive. but somewhy i thought that car would be able to compete with a z06. but oh well.
and i'm pretty sure i would have smoked him up from a complete start if i'd manage to get traction :eh: .
P.S. who said 4.10 had sucky top end? :D
