1996 IMPALA SS

Presently looking at a 1996 IMPALA SS, green metallic, 23,000 miles..... the car is absolutely spotless. The only option it doesn't have is the special windshield, I forget what Chevrolet calls it.

What is the fair maket value of this car now? Thanks!

i forgot what the windshield is called, but it is not that usefull.
infact coz of that you have to get the ezpass that goes on your front plate instead of being safe and sound inside your car.
and the only advantage of the windshield is that it blocks some of the heat i believe (don't know how usefull it is never tryed it).
i could be wrong tho

my guess for the price of a nice impala SS would be $13-16k?
but thats i pure guess, based on nothing.

No sure about the prices on the Impalas (I'm more aware of Caprice prices), but the fact that the car doesn't have that windshield is a good thing. As LM13 mentioned it blocks a lot of other stuff then sun. You can't use radar detectors with it either. There is some thin metal layer, which blocks stuff.

Low mile SS's like that are fetching 25-30K right now it is stinking nutz

I was looking at one on eBay a few months ago with 18,000 miles and it went ofr over 30k and it was STOCK!!!! I about poopied my pants.......
