My best kill.

I was out on my usual night cruise when a V12 mercedes coupe passed me.
so i caught up to the guy even though i knew he'd walk on me, so the light turns green i floored it and then noticed that the guy is standing there so i let go of the gas and see that the guy flies right by me, on the second light the same thing happens, the third he was giving me a head start again, but i waited for him, and we started off at the same time. i pulled out by a hood, and don't know what the hell did that guy do but i saw his car accelerate hardly(and his RPM's went high) for a sec so that he actually almost caught up with me, and then i hear "bang" from his rear end and then notice he headlights in the mirror.
i turned around to make sure he was ok, he was ok but the car wasn't going that fast no more :D(wasn't quite going at all).
that will teach that wise a** how to race against chevy SS :)

That would be a complete kill. Or maybe even a suicide. :) He probably missed a shift, or something, and his tranny went. I don't think it was his rear end.

I raced a mercedes S600. Not sure what year, probably early 90's. I was gaining on him on straight road but couldn't keep up in the twisties. However at that time my car had winter tires on and no suspension upgrades.

but on the starts he pulled away pretty easily, we didn't go through too many twists:D

what year was this mercedez? Keep in mind its stock and it had problems. I'm sure he didn't know how to race. I would never trade my LT1 for a mercedez But a V12 is a V12:doh: If his car was modified right he'd probably be able to get that thing to run low 12's. A Chevy big body vs a Mercedez Big body... Would of love to seen one at the big sedan shout out:D

Which v12 coupe was this?? the SL or the CL,im pretty sure either one would either beat you or give u a better run if the tranny was ok or w/e the problem was.
