Ultimate racing/driving game

So after checking out Grand Thieft Auto 3 on play station 2, and Motor City Online here is what my ultimate driving game would be:

A merge of the two. Imagine if you'd have a free environment as in GTA3, where you could go, and drive where ever you wanted, and the level of customization MCO has. Currently in MCO you can set up a cool and nice car, but there is no place to drive it. Imagine if you can customize your car, then take it for a ride in the city, go to the local hang out, or drive to the nearest drag strip. If you'd feel like it you could race some one from light to light for fun, or participate in street racing, and get busted by police. Of course stealing a car wouldn't be as easy as in GTA3 either :).

Wish someone would've made something like that.

Man, GTA3 is awesome. The funniest thing was when you drove an ambulance to deliver a sick patient to the hospital, and after u discovered that each bump makes the patient feel bad, you crashed and ambulance flipped over and exploded:D

Yeah :). I like it too. Today at lunch I told friends about it, and they are non gaming crowd, like myself. Everybody liked the description though, and wanted to try it. It is fun :).
