I know I've read in the past about wider 9c1 rims on a Tahoe or something? Where can I find them and how much? I need some wheels for the winter.

Old suburbans (not sure what year) had rims similar to 9c1. They were 8" wide and had slots instead of circlular holes. Try to post this on the ImpalaSSForum and Naisso.net. Otherwise the only source for these rims is a junkyard. I don't think they are available from gm anymore.

15x8 rims from the '87 vintage subs. Of course 5 on 5 but they had 4 inches of backspacing. The rears will fit fine but you can't go too wide on the fronts. I have these wheels on the rear with 305's but have the 9c1 rims with 255x60's on the front...no rubbing. These truck rims have plenty of space to clear the calipers since they are built for the trucks. A similar wheel, say a rally, with 4 inches of bs will probaby rub on the caliper.
