4adrive an informational forum and big signatures make it difficult to read threads. Long signatures require a lot of scrolling and wide signatures distort the forum interface.
The following signature rules apply to every user. Administrators have an ability to edit signatures. Multiple violations can result in your profile settings being locked.
Images:
There can be one image up to 550 pixes wide and up to 150 pixels tall. If you have several images that are less or equal than 550 pixels in width together, you can put them side-by-side. The height requirement is still 150 pixels.
Text:
Keep the text to 6 lines at regular text size or 8 lines of small text. Use [ size=1 ]...text...[ /size ] tag (without the spaces next to square brackets inside the tag) to make the text small.
And try to keep the signature text mostly car related so we can help you better when asking for help. But there is nothing wrong to have a line or two with quotes, phrases, etc as long as you are within the text limit.
You can also limit your signature to 1 per thread page by unchecking the "show your signature" checkbox under the "post edit" textbox on your second/third/... replies. This obviously is not required as there is no way to automate it but recommended.
