Here's a pretty nice write up on it, with pics:

Seems like an easy mod to do, which does a lot for your brakes. For those who don't know what it does: when chevy installed rear disc brakes on 9c1 caprices (unlike drum brakes on civis) they didn't adjust the brake pressure properly, so rear ones aren't being used. This mod fixes the problem, and makes pressure distribution of 70-30 (what it should be) between front and rear brakes, instead of something like 95-5.

I ordered my stealth bolt from Dan Ferraro at DEVIL.DOG@prodigy.net . It is a custom manufactured, ready to install piece.

You just take your vented bolt off. Remove a valve and a spring from your combination valve assembly. Put the stealth bolt in. Bleed the brakes. Great improvement in partial braking with reduced nose dive.

How much was the price for the bolt? I don't think it should be too expensive. The idea that some hole in the new bolt is plugged, right?

The bolt was around $20, I think. You are exactly right about the lack of the hole.

It's really a good mod. Harder to do burnouts with the mod though. Due to the fact that the rears are biting more. Anyhow get a linelock then. ;)
