Who's going to E-Town this weekend? Hopefully the weather won't by rainy, so we'll all be able to achieve some new best times. Last time I ran 15.3, but everybody said that because of the hot weather they were running .5 slower then usual, so I'm hoping to get into 14's. One bad thing for me is the lack of POSI still. Can't get a good start, and I can't make up my mind on the gears - 3.73s, or 4.10s. Damn, this modding thing is complicated! :)
Anyway, who's coming, besides me, LM13, EliGC, and a whole bunch of our friends?

Damn, I'm working this Saturday. Haven't been at the track for about 2 years. :(

Since you have a stock converter and considering T56, definitely go with 4.10's. Also 4.10's with 275/50 tires is almost the same as 3.73's and 275/40 tires.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking. But then what happens if I end up not getting T56? :) Also what worries me at this moment is that I drive 140 miles every day, and 4.10s might make the RPMs too high for a daily drive like that, and it'll take it's toll on MPG. But then again you are right about the tires.
So here's my plan:
- get 4.10s with Eaton Posi unit
- some time later (maybe much later) get T56 in there
- switch to 285/40 tires which will be fine with T56 (i'm not too sure about Nittos)
Does that sound reasonable? Will the car stay drivable between step 1 and step 2? Thanks for help, man, I really value your opinion.

I might make it to the track. I won't race but ill be cheering for you guys all the way to the finish line!!:D
Woah:eek:!!! Dan you drive 140 miles a day... I thought I was bad driving a 100 miles a day from Long Island to the Bronx. Where the hell is your Job located?
Norwalk, CT. And I do live on the oposite side of Brooklyn from that.
I have problems with fuel pressure, cant get it above 38 psi or so and im running very lean above 3k rpm....soooo....im changing the fuel filter today, and if that doesnt help it would mean im not going on saturday, i'll have to order walbro 255 fuelpump...
Yeah, looks like I'm not going either. First of all chances are it's going to rain. Plus I've got so much stuff to take care on this weekend, that I just don't have any free time. So, guys, and girls who I promissed to take with me - how about next week?
It looks like it'll be Corvette day + street muffled vehicles, so it should be equally fun. Plus hopefully there will be no rain.
