I'm wondering if they will have any more Camaros left until the next winter. I was thinking of getting a 2nd gen, and building up the engine, but that comes out to about $10K. I would love to get LT1 powered 4th gen for $5K. I'd even take a trip down there for that... I just hope they'll still have them...

96 camaro's for $4500. Why wasn't I there? :(

And 95 caprices for as low as $1800!!

I'm going there next summer, and picking up my new camaro :).

If u buy a camaro, u can also buy another caprice to pull an engine out of it, and sell the rest of it for parts:)

What would be the point of that?

Did you think it came with V2? :)

I think 93 - 97 camaros had LT1s.

saggy might have a point there, find a cheapy beat ass v6 camaro(if you could find one cheaper then the auction), and stick an LT1 in there

Come on, do you really think that getting a V6 camaro, AND and LT1 engine, then taking out V6, changing mounts and everything else, installing a new engine in, and whatever else is involved in this would be less then $4500?? What point where you speaking of again?

you don't know the conditions those camaros were in.
but if you rent a garage, i got the motor that could lift up the engine, so i guess if we do the work ourselves it might come out cheaper. :)
would be a real project car :D
you could get the body for like 1500 i guess :)

But he can get an LT1 Camero for 5k down in Texas, why would he bother with the car project?

Man, I guess we'll never know. I guess a Project Car is something that you spend unneeded enourmous amounts of money on... Go figure...
